G'day, everyone! This is Sharieli Balakrishnan back again to blog. And my sincere apologies for my very prolonged absence (I know this is quite a long time). Hope things are going good there too. The title sounds like sci-fi. But we are totally off track then, if that's what you think. Today, you are going to read about Types Of Parents. Let's get on with it then!
Inhumans - This type of parents have given birth to punching sandbags, not babies. And when the sandbags commit an error, usually a petty one, these parents practice for their next boxing match ON the kids.
So Sus - These parents would have probably worked as a spy in their past. They often get dubious about every minute thing their kids do. These parents are like -
I see my child hearing an audio
I see that sussy, my cardio
is curious, so I march and go
I sigh, he listening to Billy Joel
(But wait! Is he really listening though?)
Money in their pockets - As the name suggests, these parents buy whatever the kid asks, irrespective of its cost. They spend their money like money ain't shit. Even though if a child wishes to have an Rs. 5 chocolate, they will buy Richart chocolates. The result of parents + Dollars & Diamonds + pride = young braggarts.
Comparing Cases - These parents compare their kids with the other kids. If A scores 95%, the parents of B, who scored 94%, ask him "Why you not 95.5% score English exam in?"
IDGAF - They are the ones who will probably be gobbling chips sitting on the couch or scrolling through Instagram. These ones don't give a damn about what their kids do. Go smack someone. Go fail in the exam. Go die. The devil may care...
Emotional - These are the ones who will probably be watching cringe serials on TV and crying with the actresses. These are worse than violent parents. They create violence through non-violence. The only thing they do to display rage or sorrow is crying, just crying. I really don't know how to express how these parents make their kids realize their missteps just by staying silent, but they legit do it.
Strict Sapiens - These are the ones who would have probably served in the army as a General for a millennium. They lay the law down; like parties - "Nah Nah", Group study at a friend's house - "Nah Nah". And the law is a law; No breaking. If the kids break the rule, they'll pack the kid's suitcases, kick them outta the house and prison them in a goddamn hostel.
Lecturing Leeches - These parents must have been interested in philosophy and TED talks. Having thought that their exemplary speakers, they talk, talk, talk until they run out of energy - NO! They won't run out of energy. They end their talk when they receive a call from their office. The child finds it very hard not to yawn or sleep during these so-called useful life lessons. (sed...)
The Perfects - These parents are perfect in parenting. They trust their kids yet, have an eye on them. They give freedom yet, hold them at times. They have fun yet, be strict at times. And these parents could also be the parents other kids could wish for.
There are many more to go. But remember that parents are the only asset we can have till our grave and after that too; no matter what their personality is. They do everything for our healthy future. And it is our obligation to make them proud.
Now frankly speaking - "Damn! That was one hell of a paragraph. Turned out to be way more serious than I wanted it to be. lol"
Hope the blog was entertaining. Pls leave a comment or a suggestion below.
